What to Bring to Playgroups

For your Dog :

• Flat Buckle Style Collar with ID tags
  Dogs are not permitted to wear:
•  choke chains
•  pinch (prong)
• We recommend and carry our favorite headhalters and harnesses that help reduce pulling. We offer free fittings to assist you in finding the properly sized product for your dog to assist with training.
• 4-6 foot  leash
• No retractable leashes please!
• a towel to dry off your dog's paws

For yourself:

• Close-toed, non-slip shoes are recommended.
• Long pants are recommended to protect your legs.
• Wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty
• Make sure you bundle up in the winter months.
• Mud is always a possibility!
• Don't forget sun protection or bug spray!
• Bring a bottle of water with you for those hot summer days. During the winter months bring a thermos mug for hot tea or hot cocoa. We also provide cups too, of course!
• Always check the webpage before you leave home for cancellations and the latest weather report.

Equipment and Facilities you will find at the Park:

• Outdoor Wash Station (seasonal)
  • All you need to bring is a towel!
• We provide water in each playgroup area
• Waste stations including bags are located in each playgroup area and throughout the Park.
• Wading pools are available for cooling off (seasonal)
• Sun shades and seating (seasonal)
• Public Restroom located inside the training barn.
